For the past 4 years I’ve been working on the VMware Validated Designs. It has been an awesome experience and I absolutely love all the work I’ve done and the team I got to opportunity to work with.
A couple months ago I got the opportunity to interview for a Senior Staff position, Senior Staff in VMware is a pretty big deal, in our NFV business unit. The interviews went great and I was immediately offered the position which started my transition from my current role to my new one.
Today is my last day on the VVD team and it’s quite bittersweet, I love this team and what we’ve accomplished. This is a great move for me and will challenge me in new areas and cause me to grow which I love.
I’d like to give a huge thank you to the entire VVD team, you all rock and also to the NFV team for allowing me to come in to this new position and help VMware and our customers on the journey to 5G!
It’s now time for me to start drinking from the firehouse again and meeting with our customers to gather their requirements and pain points and lead the effort to create NFV architectures that meet them, it’s going to be a lot a fun and hard work but I’m looking forward to jumping in on Monday!
